When using with Milk Paint, blend the product into the mixed Milk Paint and use in all coats.
Bonding Agent inhibits the natural distressing that can occur with Milk Paint. It also allows Milk Paint to adhere to non-porous surfaces such as glass, metal and any painted, varnished or lacquered surfaces including walls.
This is a water-based concentrated acrylic emulsion.
How to use this product with Milk Paint:
250ml is enough for 1 Quart. 500ml is enough for 2 Quarts.
Milk paint with bonding agent needs a minimum of 12 hours to cure between coats. The longer the cure the better your chances are of getting good adhesion. Bonding agent is 100% pure acrylic and needs time to cure.
Try to keep the number of coats to 2 coats. Mix bonding agent in each coat. If you need more than two coats, give it a bit longer to cure.
Try using a fine grit (220 and up) sanding block in between coats. This will loosen anything that might want to chip before you paint again, smooth your surface, and prepare the way for another smooth coat on top.
Clean with soap and warm water. Protect from freezing.
